We run a safe haven for unwanted roosters, giving them a proper chance at a good home instead of being culled or passed around. If you’ve bought chicks from us and ended up with more boys than expected, you’re welcome to bring them back. We also accept roosters from elsewhere when we have space. Please note we do not offer payment or refunds for returned birds. Our priority is welfare and responsible rehoming.

Every rooster that comes in stays with us for a minimum of two weeks. This allows us to monitor health, behaviour, and temperament before they are made available for rehoming. We do not rehome aggressive birds. Those that show ongoing aggression will remain here. At any given time, we typically have 40 or more roosters available, all assessed and ready for suitable homes.

This service is completely free. If you are dropping off a rooster or taking one home, donations are always appreciated to help cover feed and care. This can be anything from a couple of quid to a tin of corn.
